The Slot Attendant is responsible for the accurate payout of Slot jackpots and providing excellent guest service.EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS INCLUDE (Other Duties May Be Assigned)Accurately paying out all slot machine jackpots and completing associated paperwork.Servicing minor slot machine malfunctions.Perform basic preventative machine maintenance.Verify change bank impress totals, prepare paperwork, and close and open banks.Learn and know slot machine code errors.Maintain a constant presence throughout the casino floor in order to assist guests with playing and reading slot machines.Complete the necessary sign-in and out sheets for radios/keys.Understand and follow proper procedures for radio usage.Attend all company-required training.Comply with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.Adhere to all safety guidelines.Meet company attendance requirements.May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
