Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team in Gainesville, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position ideal for an individual who excels in inventory coordination, production workflows, and ERP system management. The role requires a hands-on approach to managing inventory processes and ensuring accuracy across operational systems.Responsibilities: Oversee the management and accuracy of inventory records within the ERP system, ensuring all data is up-to-date. Coordinate work orders and production flows to maintain consistency in inventory tracking. Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and production reporting. Develop and implement best practices for inventory management processes. Collaborate with production teams to ensure the seamless movement of materials and products. Utilize NetSuite or other ERP software to track inventory levels and generate reports. Analyze inventory trends and provide actionable recommendations to optimize stock levels. Support auditing processes to ensure compliance with established inventory controls. Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency. Assist with light accounting tasks as needed, such as journal entries or reconciliations. Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, and familiarity with tools like IBM AS/400. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with production workflows and work order management. Knowledge of auditing processes and inventory control best practices. Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and multitask effectively. Experience with light accounting tasks is a plus, though not required.
