Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSurvey Manager - GlenvilleGlenville, WV - Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Survey Manager to lead our surveying team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying techniques, as well as proficiency in various software applications used in the field. The Survey Manager will play a crucial role in project planning, execution, and client communication. DutiesManage and coordinate all aspects of survey projects, including planning (budgeting), execution, and reporting.Manage field crewsCoordinate with branch offices for job prioritization and efficiency.Develop and maintain project schematics.Analyze geographical data using GIS software to support project requirements.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding surveying practices.Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to integrate survey data into project designs.Train and mentor junior survey staff on best practices and technical skills.Review and validate survey results for accuracy before submission to clients. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):1. Do you have a WV Professional Surveyor License (with additional state licensures being a plus).2. Do you have expertise in Carlson Survey CAD and GIS software to manage geographical data and create accurate project schematics.3. Do you have the ability to manage field crews, coordinate with branch offices, and mentor junior staff effectively.4. Do you have strong understanding of local, state, and federal surveying regulations to ensure project accuracy and legality.5. Do you have experience in Oil & Gas Industry (especially in road design, well pad design, and construction layout). - Nice to Have:6.
