Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHiring for a Full Time position- 5am-1pm Saturday-Wednesday. Also hiring for a Part Time position, Mondays and Tuesdays 1pm-11pm.Our scope of work has increased and we are seeking UNARMED security professionals for Full Time and Part Time employment. One year of experience as a licensed security officer required.Must have your own vehicle to get to and from work.Job Summary:The position provides a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while patrolling the property in accordance with company and property policies, practices and procedures. Security Officer experience is highly preferred. Please know there is a fair amount of walking.Requirements:Must have a smartphone and data planPrior experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred but not requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to speak, read, write and understand EnglishMust be able to exercise good judgment in handling a variety of situationsMust have the ability to use a tablet and smartphone.Must be able to calmly and forcefully handle situations involving aggressive peopleMust possess tact and diplomacy in dealing with the public and staffMust possess the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified informationPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to drive, walk, run, bend from the waist, crouch, stretch, kneel, climb, twist, walk up and down stairs and crawl without restrictionsMust have manual dexterity in hands and fingersWork Environment:Must be willing/able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as dust, extreme heat, and extreme coldEssential Job Functions:Warn or expel violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, drinking, drug use and criminal activities.Report irregularities to the supervisor and complete a DAR (daily activity report) on the provided tabletLog all activities, vendors, and contractorsMonitor and assist in the enforcement of property policies and federal, state and local lawsPrepare incidents reports, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, criminal activities, suspicious circumstances, injuriesAssist in preliminary investigations.Assist local law enforcement as requestedMaintain a visible and accessible presence among customers and employees to create a sense of security to deter potential problems and to answer questionsPerform customer service continuouslyAll other duties that may be assigned
