Job DescriptionJob DescriptionKitchen Department WorkerWe are seeking a Kitchen Department Worker for a food production facility in Coushatta to assist with daily operations in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.Responsibilities Include:Assisting with kitchen tasks and ingredient preparationSetting up cooking equipment and performing pre-op cleaningFollowing precise recipes and instructions from managementMaintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area throughout the dayProperly staging ingredients for upcoming production runsFollowing strict food safety protocols and sanitation requirementsReporting inventory shortages and any safety concernsQualifications:Prior experience in an industrial/commercial kitchen preferredAbility to learn and follow food safety programs (GMP, SSOP, HACCP)Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt to assigned dutiesRequirements:Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional Saturday work if neededShift starts at 5:30 AM and typically ends by 3:00 PMMust pass all required food safety testsWork in humid, warm, cold, and wet conditionsThis role offers a structured work environment with an emphasis on efficiency and safety.
