Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTotal Positions: 10 Duration: 5 Months ContractExpected start date: May 5thExpected End Date: November 30thHours:Sunday - Friday: 7pm- 7amTop Skills Details1. Experience installing Data cables, Cat 5, Cat 6, and Fiber cables2. Experience with Installing Switches in a commercial or retail store.3. At least one previous traveling project (looking for road warriors) DescriptionScope of work:The Switch Install project will consist of 2 teams. Fiber pulling team and switch install team.Fiber pullers (team of 2) - This team will travel to Walmart stores pulling on Avg 10 cables per store. Also staging Switchs for the switch install team.The Switch install team (team of 2) will be traveling behind the fiber pullers to decommission the old Switch and install new switchesSwitch Techs will work 5 days a week to start the project Sunday - ThursdayThe fiber tech will install Fiber using a fusion splicer and test connections. All work will be done overnight. This project will go through end of Oct. Technicians will work 60 to 72 hours a week. This includes drive time between sites. On site time will be 10 hour days.Must have their own basic hand toolsThis is a 100% traveling position, technicians will be given a van or rental vehicleExternal Communities Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled cable technician who has a passion for traveling and installing network cables inside commercial buildings. They will be installing switches for retail client sites, the environment is fast paced, demanding with high ceilings that will require using a scissor lift for heights up to 30 feet requirements for the role include 2 plus years of installing data cables, and switches inside retail environment.Location: Lowell, Arkansas,United States,72745Aditional Benefits:Company vehicle.Gas cardTravel Time.Per diem ($115/per day = $805/per week)Work EnvironmentThe stores are very large and have 30ft tall ceilings that the technicians will be running the wire through.These projects have a deadline so these technicians will have to work at a fast pace and pick up on how to do the installs quickly.
