The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up, operating, and programming Sinker and Wire EDM machines. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality parts, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and innovative company.ResponsibilitiesMachine high-quality partsRead and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructionsInspect and document manufactured partsEnsure machinery is in good working order before each shiftPerform machine setups for part manufacturingEdit programs as neededPerform necessary machine maintenance and use equipment properlyAbide by all safety standards at all timesReport any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediatelyKeep all work areas clean and organizedHold oneself to a high standard of quality and take pride in workBe available to work 2nd shift and for overtime as neededEssential Skills7+ years of experience with Sinker / Wire EDM machines setup, operating, and programmingExperience reading and interpreting blueprintsExperience with GD&TAdvanced knowledge of EDM programmingAdditional Skills & QualificationsMastercam experience is a strong plusWhy Work Here?High pay and long-term opportunity with a growing company. Both climate and non-climate controlled environments. 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM, Friday 6AM-2:30PM. 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM, Friday 2PM-10PM. Expect roughly 10 hours/day Monday-Thursday, 8 hours on Friday, with optional (encouraged) and as-needed Saturday overtime for both shifts.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bertram, Texas.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $46.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
