A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.ResponsibilitiesMust be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all timesEstablish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotelMaintain open door communication with employeesUphold the highest standards of hospitality and service, constantly monitoring guest experienceEnforce training programs with the goal of constant improvement, both at the individual and group levelResponsible for obtaining maximum results in the utilization and appearance of the food and beverage areas, the quality levels, performance and standards of serviceDevelop new and analyze existing procedures that will improve guest patronage under the guidelines of Companys policiesHandles guest complaints in the restaurant area as neededInspect and taste prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulationsParticipate in weekly departmental meetingsAdhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructionsControl labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash controlAssist GM in interviewing, selecting, training, guiding, managing and scheduling personnelMonitor and develop employee performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling, evaluations, setting annual goals and delivering recognition and rewardEnsure staff understands their job expectations before holding them accountableCore CompetenciesHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Two (2) years of related experience in hospitality or service industry preferredStrong communication skillsCollaborative spiritEthical ConductComputer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, POSPositive AttitudeEye for DetailProblem solving abilitiesCompensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive wages and benefits while fostering a diverse and inclusive work experience.We thrive in being a diverse work environment.
