Stability and Reputation - RMS has been in business for 99 years and continues to grow.Major Areas of Responsibility: Manage day-to-day orders from assigned accounts via phone, email or walk inEnter customer ordersDefine the work scope, establish a due date and estimate the job costRespond to customer RFQ (request for quotation) in a timely mannerFollow up on previously quoted businessAssist outside sales as necessaryDevelop a good understanding of customers and their needsMonitor in-process orders to ensure on-time deliveryNotify customer when their order is completeProcess payment when customer arrives for pick upAssist with shipping and inventoryRequired Skills:Strong Math SkillsStrong communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsHigh level of professionalismBasic understanding of Microsoft Office applicationsAssociates Degree in Business or related fieldAdditional Preferred Skills:Print reading skillsAssociates degreeExperience in sales or within a manufacturing industryAbout Road Machinery & Supplies Co.Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is a distributor of construction and mining equipment with sales and support operations throughout the Upper Midwest.
