Maintenance Planner

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: Primary Responsibilities: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for organizing, scheduling,and purchasing components for maintenance work to be completed. Planner will also follow up withthe maintenance team on scheduled tasks and assist with planned downtime events.Provides technical support for all maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order systems inMaximo.Ensures drawings and machine-center information are kept current and organized.Develops, issues, and posts project schedules.Schedules weekly work order meetings and out week order assignments.Publishes weekly work-order schedules.Develops scope of work for bidding process.Coordinates outside contract bids for down days and outages.Inputs purchase requisitions for parts.Manages inventory of maintenance stock itemsJob Experience: A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position.Five years of industrial maintenance experience in Mechanical or Electrical fields.High level of emotional intelligence.Ability to grasp complex concepts.Excellent planning, negotiating, and organizing skills.Ability to operate in a systemic and logical manner.Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook, WILS, Qlikview, and Maximo programs.Behavioral Skills: Behavioral skills are critical for determining success in a career.Proactive and positive approach to safetyCreates and maintains positive relationshipsAble to manage multiple projects and activitiesHigh sense of urgencyWillingness to learn and growThoroughness and attention to detailEvidence of self-structureHigh ego-strengthStrong communication and people skills
