Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQuality Control Inspector - Pay Based on Experience Integrity Trade Services is partnered with a local furniture manufacturer to hire a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team focused on producing durable, safe, and high-quality cafeteria tables for educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring our products meet or exceed internal and customer expectations for safety, function, and aesthetics.Quality Control Key Responsibilities:Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished cafeteria tables for defects, nonconformance, and quality standards.Perform visual inspections, functional tests, and measurements using gauges, tools, and testing equipment.Ensure all products meet applicable school safety standards and durability requirements.Record inspection data accurately and maintain clear documentation of quality issues and corrective actions.Collaborate with production staff to identify root causes of defects and support process improvements.Verify that products are properly labeled, packaged, and ready for shipment.Assist in audits and compliance checks as required.Communicate clearly with team leads and supervisors regarding quality concerns or trends.Provide assistants to other team members as needed Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday thru Friday - Hours will vary (Some Saturdays will be required depending on workload and department) Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a furniture or metal/wood product manufacturing environment.Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and gauges.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and work instructions.Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping.Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.Must be able to follow instructions and procedures Must have the ability to utilize hand tools (drills, banding tools) Have the ability communicate effectively with management and team members Must be able to work in a team environment or as an individual as needed Must be able to pass screenings Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to but not limited to 50 pounds and moving, pushing, pulling heavy material throughout the shift.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.Interested in learning more?
