Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionCandidates will be programming CNC machines, selecting the appropriate program from the work order for the product they are working on. They need to be able to read blueprints and understand how to upload specifications into the machines. They will also conduct quality checks to ensure the product was correctly placed into the machine.ResponsibilitiesProgram CNC machines according to the work order specifications.Select the correct program for the product being worked on.Read blueprints and upload specifications into machines.Perform quality checks to ensure products are correctly placed into machines.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation and programming.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Knowledge of uploading specifications into CNC machines.Experience with quality checks and product inspections.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in assembly, construction, carpentry, or any type of machine operation is beneficial.Familiarity with using tools such as tape measures, calipers, and press brakes.Work EnvironmentThe work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with the requirement to work every other Saturday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. Steel-toed shoes are not required. The role involves working with CNC machines and conducting quality checks in a production environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northwood, IowaPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.81 - $23.81/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
