Job DescriptionJob DescriptionChipton-Ross is currently seeking a Machine Operator for a contract position located in Walton, KY. This role requires working 100% onsite at the facility.Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring quality production and efficient equipment use. This position involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and adherence to established safety and quality protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform quality checks and inspections based on visual work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Handle materials and work orders to maintain product traceabilityConduct basic daily checks and cleaning of equipmentMaintain cleanliness and follow safety requirements in all manufacturing areasLoad and unload pallets and part carriers on CNC machining centersUse measurement tools such as digital height gauges, calipers, go/no-go gauges, and thread gaugesEnter data and confirm work orders using traceability softwareRecord quality measurements in MMS/QC Gage databasesFollow procedures provided by the safety, quality, and engineering teamsComplete other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Education:High school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionRequired Skills and Experience:Ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong attention to quality and detailWillingness to learn and follow continuous improvement processesFamiliarity with technical tools and professional manufacturing standardsCommitment to meeting work standards and deadlinesScheduleShift: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)Rotation: 2-2-3 schedule, alternating between days and nights every 8 weeksCompany DescriptionChipton-Ross is a trusted staffing partner for some of the most respected companies across the aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and engineering industries.
