Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHiring Maintenance MechanicsJob DescriptionAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining hydraulic systems, gearboxes, conveyor equipment, vibrating feeders, hammer mills, cranes, mechanical drives, and assorted industrial equipment. You will use a variety of tools and equipment including hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools such as drill presses, saws, grinders, and more. Your role will involve reading and working from blueprints, troubleshooting, dismantling, repairing, and assembling industrial equipment. Additionally, you will perform welding, brazing, soldering work, operate cranes, and erect and disassemble scaffolding.ResponsibilitiesMaintain hydraulic systems, gearboxes, conveyor equipment, vibrating feeders, hammer mills, cranes, mechanical drives, and assorted industrial equipment.Use hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools including drill presses, saws, grinders, breaks, benders, shears, iron workers, and pipe cutting and threading equipment.Operate welding, burning, and metal joining equipment, hoists, cranes, mobile equipment, and test instruments.Read and work from blueprints, sketches, charts, manuals, instruction books, and diagrams.Fill out reports and other necessary paperwork.Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, assemble, inspect, and test industrial equipment, machinery, structures, and facilities.Install, inspect, maintain, and repair piping systems and associated fixtures.Perform cutting, welding, brazing, and soldering work with metal sheet and plate, including necessary layout work.Operate cranes, mobile equipment, and erect and disassemble scaffolding in conjunction with repair work.Essential SkillsExperience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environmentsProficiency in hydraulics, conveyor systems, gearboxes, pneumatics, bucket elevators, screw jacks, and troubleshooting.3-5+ years of experience in a similar role.Experience with welding and fabrication.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.Other SkillsRebuilding diesel enginesMotor swappingExperience with heavy equipment such as industrial forklifts, heavy construction equipment, cruise haulers, and wollardsWhy Work Here?Our company offers a unique and supportive work environment where everyone is treated like family. Additionally, our facility provides free onsite healthcare services and all necessary uniforms and PPE.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $81494.00/yr.- 9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr)- They can test every 6 months to test into higher tech level and get pay increase- Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S- 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage - very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview)- $300 tool stipend each year- All uniforms and PPE are provide by company, including prescription safety glasses- Free clinic onsite for check ups or any issues that happen during the day- Quarterly bonus up to 10% of what they have made in total that quarter. This is based on company profitability. They currently are averaging 4-6% per quartero Quarter bonus is tied to attendance. - HUGE on promoting from within. They have a ton of supervisors/managers who have been there for 30-40 years and nearing retirement. This is agreat opportunity for people coming in to train and develop themselves for those roles- If you work 6 days in a row, on your 6th day you are paid x1.75.
