Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHeat Treat TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Heat Treat Technician will set up and perform controlled heat treating to offset the high temperature effects of welding. Additional responsibilities include performing heating applications such as brake outs, pre-heating, refractory curing, heat alignments, lower temperature line heating, and similar thermal processes as required. The role also involves loading, assembling, disassembling, and maintaining heat-treating equipment, fastening and securing or welding thermocouples using capacitor discharge units to the workpiece, and installing and removing thermal heating pads, electrical resistance heaters, induction coils, and insulation.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop. The shift is from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
