MACHINE OPERATOR:THE OPPORTUNITY: Under the direction of the Embroidery Lead, this position is responsible for processing embroidery orders by preparing garments, running an embroidery and laser machine, and making quality adjustments as necessary. They will also be picking inventory for orders as well as performing quality control on each garment, to include: folding, labeling, boxing and counting garments, as well as recording styles and quantities of garments produced.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________A Typical Day (job functions) | Analyze + Operate + Quality Control + RepeatAnalyze orders to identify design and determine thread colorsChange embroidery machine threads, including threading needlesAttach hoops to the garmentsAccess order specifications through computer spreadsheetsNavigate through computer programs to process garment order on embroidery and/or laser machineOperate embroidery machine computer and laser machineVerify quality and quantity of the clothing and embroideryMaintain Zephyr & Lakeshirts acceptable standard of quality per garment Communicate with, or walk to, inventory area to gather replacement garments as needed Keep work area clean and orderlyOrganize work flowFollow safety practices. Identify problems and work to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards Work actively with others to get the job done Other duties as assigned____________________________________________________________________________________________________________Skills (qualifications) | Reliability + Motivation + Goal-Driven + Attention to Detail High school education desirable, but not required. Positive attitude & self-motivated Ability to work well in a team. Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well.
