Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $55,000$75,000Location:Remote and/or hybrid applicants will be considered, though it is preferred to be within the same time zone for collaboration purposes.About the RoleThe Product Coordinator will support BoxPowers product development and management efforts in the renewable energy and microgrid sector. This role provides essential administrative and coordination support across product, engineering, and operations teamsoffering a valuable opportunity to gain experience and grow within the rapidly expanding microgrid and renewable energy industry. This role may require up to 10% travel, with additional travel as needed based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with product administration tasks, including tracking development progress, documentation, and coordinating stakeholder inputs.Provide program management support for grant projects and deliverables.Assist in identifying and securing funding through government grants, incentives, partnerships, and similar opportunities.Support product management efforts by maintaining product roadmaps, conducting research, and helping with technical specifications.Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing/testing, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.Organize and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables.Assist in customer and stakeholder communication, helping to gather and synthesize feedback.Contribute to the development and documentation of internal processes and tools to improve workflow efficiency.Participate in training and development opportunities to deepen understanding of microgrid/energy systems and BoxPower solutions.Required QualificationsBasic knowledge of power systems, microgrids, utilities, or renewable energy (e.g., coursework, internships, or personal projects).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).Comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok) to assist with writing, research, and automation.Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize across multiple tasks.Eagerness to learn and grow within the energy sector.Ability to communicate effectively across teams.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Bachelors degree in a technical, business, or STEM-related field (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Business, or similar).Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or equivalent.Experience with basic scripting (e.g., Python, Excel VBA, or SQL) is a plus for automating workflows and data handling.Familiarity with microgrid modeling tools (e.g., HOMER Pro, PVsyst) or energy system design concepts is a plus.Experience reviewing or editing technical specifications or product documentationCompensation & BenefitsHealth Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees.Time Off: Flexible, unlimited PTO policy that promotes work-life balance.Retirement: 401(k) plan, managed through Human Interest.
