Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMinimum 1+ years physical therapy experience required.We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) for the Palatka, FL area for the 2025 - 2026 school year. This is a 37.5 hours/week position with a caseload of 40 - 50 students. The PT will collaborate with another Physical Therapist to provide services to students across multiple grade levels. Ideal candidates are ready to interview for the uping school year and are passionate about supporting students' motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, andmobility.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals and objectives. Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to ensure integration of therapy goals into the educational setting. Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEPs. municate effectively with parents/guardians to discuss students' progress, remendations, and home-based activities. Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in school-based physical therapy. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist. Prior experience working with pediatric populations is preferred. Knowledge of IDEA regulations and the special education process is a plus. Excellent munication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
