Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNow Hiring General Laborer in Curwensville, PA!First Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm with chance of OT!Pay: $18.24/hr to start!Job DescriptionOur company, with a rich history dating back to 1975, is seeking a dedicated General Laborer to work in our cement packaging department. This role involves holding plastic bags open to a tube that pours cement powder inside. This is a physically demanding position that requires lifting and quality checks throughout the shift.ResponsibilitiesHold plastic bags open to a tube that dispenses cement powder.Perform quality checks on the cement product.Lift and manage bags weighing between 50 lbs - 75 lbs.Work efficiently to meet production targets.Essential SkillsExperience with general labor tasks.Ability to handle construction materials and tools.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Capable of performing heavy lifting.Experience in production or packing roles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in landscaping or similar physical work.Ability to work in a dusty and dirty environment.Comfortable working in non-climate controlled conditions.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is not climate controlled, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The floor is dusty and dirty due to the nature of working with powdered cement and concrete. Employees should be prepared for physical work and to get their clothes dirty.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.24 - $18.24/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
