Job DescriptionJob Description 2nd or 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician $28-32Job DescriptionPerform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to management.ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.Detect and report faulty operations, defective material, and unusual situations.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude.Ability to change out a motor (480V).Experience working in a highly automated production environment, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing.Knowledge of conveyor systems, PLCs, automation, and Multivac machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the food and beverage industry.Experience with Multivac machines.Work EnvironmentThe majority of the plant is climate-controlled and maintains a clean environment. Shifts available: 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday), 2nd shift (2:00pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday), and 3rd shift (10:30pm-6:30am Monday-Friday). The 3rd shift focuses on reassembling equipment post-sanitation and is ideal for less experienced hires. There is built-in overtime of 5 hours weekly, with one day off during the week and every other weekend off, though the specific day off varies.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Denison, TexasPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $66560.00/yr.-Weekly pay-Benefits start on day 1-1st year, PTO accrues 1.5 hours per week-Shift differentials (1/hr for 3rd, .50/hr for 2nd)-Very strong progression plan for pay.
