Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Production and Pultrusion Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Production and Pultrusion Machine Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for gluing, assembling, and fabricating fiberglass panels, as well as operating power machines to trim and drill products. You will also learn various coating, painting, and grit application procedures. Additionally, you will be involved in shipping activities, ensuring finished products are palletized and ready for shipping. You will be trained to read orders and match specified products to the required specifications.ResponsibilitiesGlue, assemble, and fabricate fiberglass panels and other products.Operate power machines to trim and drill products.Push cross rods through grating to make assembled panels or other products.Learn and apply various coating, painting, and grit application procedures.Palletize and prepare finished products for shipping.Read and fill orders by matching specified products to specifications.Keep glass racks full and perform basic pultrusion machine operations.Essential SkillsExperience in general production, machine operation, lifting, packaging, and assembly.Ability to lift 50 pounds several times a shift.At least 6 months of work history at the same job verified through references.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in picking, packing, general labor, and machine operation.Why Work Here?Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, paid holidays, vacation time, paid leave time, 401(k) with a maximum company match of 4%, profit sharing, and a bonus program based on company performance. You will be exposed to noise, dust, fiberglass, and resin chemicals due to the manufacturing process, but you will not be handling these materials directly. The team consists of 5 people per cell, with 45 people on the 1st shift, 45 people on the 2nd shift, and 35 people on the 3rd shift. Safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection are required, and it is recommended to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt due to the presence of fiberglass. Assembly hours are as follows: 1st shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 3rd shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Pultrusion hours are 1st shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 3rd shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Shipping hours are 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or Tuesday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Overtime will be discussed with the supervisor and may be mandatory at certain times throughout the year.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATFIELD, Minnesota.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
