It will all be yours when you choose to join our team!What We Are Looking ForWere now hiring a Dry Packaging General Labor to assist operators and pack various products of a line to ensure continuous quality, efficiency and safety of that line for our dry packaging production team at Tuffys Pet Foods. If you have a passion for pets and this role matches your skill set, this position might be for you and you may have just stumbled upon the perfect role!Essential Duties: Packing of various products in a timely and safe manner, maintaining highest quality standard.Communicate with operator, foreman and supervisor on any quality or safety concern.Assist operator in controlling code dates, expiration dates, stickers and any items unique to product specifications.Assist operator in controlling product quality, contamination, weight control and line efficiency.Will do general cleaning of production area.Will perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.QualificationsGeneral mathematical ability and basic computer skillsMust not be afraid of heights, ability to climb 30 feetBe able to meet physical requirements necessary for this positionBe willing to work hours and shifts as required by the supervisorCapable of performing all labor as required by this jobLearning, memorizing and executing a sequence of proceduresMust be able to read, speak, write and understand EnglishContinuous walking, pushing, pulling, standing and reaching above shoulder levelOccasionally bending, stooping, crouching, carrying and liftingWorking in loud and at times dusty and hot environmentWilling and able to get along with others. Be willing to fill in on other shifts as required by supervisor.Good judgment, communication skills and reasoning abilities.Ability to handle weights of up to 65lbs on a routine basis
