The right care, the right way!The Lead PSR is responsible for ensuring the patients check-in experience meets Noble's standard of care. Train new hires and provide education on scheduling practices at both our Mauston and Friendship clinics. Meet defined performance standards and quality metrics for assigned service locations. Responsible for communicating with a team about organizational updates/changes. Address patient concerns. Maintain patient call lists for patients to ensure efficient and effective daily management of provider schedules. Schedule patient appointments with clinical providers and other professionals using the Epic and Dentrix software systems. Maintain assigned schedules regularly throughout the day to address cancellations, walk-ins, and emergency patients. Accurately enter patient registration information during scheduling and patient check-in. Accurately enter patient insurance information and ensure real-time verification of coverage. Assist with triaging phone calls - handle and route all clinic phone calls as required. Educate the patient on any requirements for an upcoming appointment. Provide backup coverage for other registration and scheduling areas as assigned Attend and participate in projects and meetings as required. Maintain high customer service standards to reflect a positive image of the organization. Maintain patient confidentiality, following Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements. Maintain knowledge of requirements and other unique characteristics of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Regular and reliable attendance. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct in performing all job duties. Perform other duties as assigned.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to travel to both Mauston and Friendship clinic locations.Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting. Ability to work under pressure and professionally handle stressful situations. Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, other employees, as well as the public. Possess high ethical standards and adhere to the ethics of the profession. Ability to respect the confidentiality of patient information while performing job duties. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients, counselors and other clinicians. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to lead effectively by motivating assigned team, as well as the ability to coach, mentor and develop employees. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of experience scheduling patient appointments, registering patients, and verifying insurance in a healthcare or dental setting strongly preferred.
