They have been installing, servicing, and designing efficient heating and air conditioning systems for home comfort on Cape Cod and islands area since 1992! We work on projects from simple residential boiler replacements to larger commercial air conditioning Systems.Check us out online: Northstar Heating and Cooling is currently looking to add an HVAC Comfort Advisor to our Team!Someone with experience estimating residential and light commercial installation projects or someone with Lead / Foreman experience looking to transition into an estimating position. This position will work directly with the owner, and he will provide hands-on training!What you will be doing:Estimating residential and light commercial installationsLoad calculations for proper sizing of equipmentWiring material listsJob costing and Labor hoursWriting up estimate and installation contractsWorking directly with the ownerQualifications:5+ years of HVAC estimating experienceValid driver's license and insurable driving recordBasic accounting skillsMicrosoft Office experience, Word, Excel, OutlookData Entry skillsWriteSoft experienced desiredPerforming load calculation for the size of equipmentWriting up contractsMaterial listsPricing together for the job/job costingOrganized with good communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems desiredAbility to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions desiredCertification in HVAC from a Trade School is desiredKnowledge of Federal, State, and Local incentivesWork Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.Pay Scale: 10% Commission- with the expectation of a minimum salary of $100k -$200k+ Relocation Package if neededBenefits:Medical insurance 50% company paid6 paid holidaysSick - Employees earn one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked and can use up to 40 hours per year401K with matchCompany uniform, phone allowanceCompany vehicleRelocation Package Available
