This full-time, 12-month consulting role on 3rd shift is the perfect opportunity to begin or advance your hands-on career in the aerospace manufacturing industry.Your Impact: Building with Precision, Powering InnovationAs a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician, youll be part of the team that ensures aerospace components meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. In this entry-level position, you'll gain valuable training in calibration and mechanical assembly, learning how your work contributes to the safety and precision of aerospace systems.What Youll Be DoingTrain to set up and operate test stands for nozzles, spray bars, and valvesLearn to use laser markers and printers per established proceduresRecord and track spray quality parameters by serial numberAssist with assembly, repair, and disassembly of mechanical partsComplete production documentation accurately and perform labor transitionsFollow safety (EHS), quality, and continuous improvement (CI) standardsParticipate in safety and process improvement activitiesSupport production needs by working extended hours, holidays, or overtime as requiredRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentWillingness to work nonstandard hours, including overtimePreferred QualificationsBackground in manufacturing or assemblyManual dexterity and ability to learn mechanical calibration tasksBasic computer skills (e.g., email, printing, web access)Ability to read and interpret prints and follow work instructionsBasic understanding of shop math and geometric tolerancesStrong problem-solving mindset and team communication skillsEagerness to master role basics within the first 3 monthsWhy Join Us?At PDS Tech Commercial, we connect people with purpose.
