Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking to add a Legal Administrative Assistant to our team. You would be there to ensure all operations are moving efficiently and communicating when there are tasks to be completed. Job Duties include but are not limited to: -Maintains detailed notes on all account activity in the companys A/R operating systems. -Process payments received from attorneys, Bankruptcy Trustees, customers and Third party remarketing companies (active and recovery payments). -Enter monthly Legal Billing invoices onto spreadsheets for tracking case by case expenses. -Monitor all payment plans with outside counsel to ensure payment plan tracking is up to date -File Proof of Claims on all bankruptcy matters as required. -Send notifications to customers regarding the notice of the equipment being secured, sold and deficiency balances. -Process proceeds invoices from the repossession companies that need to be paid. Requirements for this position: -Billing experience -Banking OR legal experience -Minimum high school diploma -Associates or Bachelors degree preferred -A minimum of 1-2 years collections experience in commercial/consumer industry, preferably with past due accounts of over thirty (30+) days -Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Must be detail oriented. -Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages. -Ability to work well under the pressure of meeting tight deadlines in a timely manner. -Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the Account Receivable department, across the organization and with outside agencies.
