This is a contract-to-hire position for 4 months before full-time employment. The role involves building and wiring control panels, using hand tools, and testing equipment to ensure the quality of panels.ResponsibilitiesBuild and wire control panelsUse basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cuttersUse test equipment including voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to check panel qualityFabricate and wire control panelsCompare wiring and location of control devicesExamine wiring for loose or faulty connectionsTest wiring circuits for malfunctions and locate root causesLabel each wire in the panelEssential SkillsAbility to read electrical schematics and blueprintsExperience with wiring control panelsProficiency in using hand tools and testing equipmentKnowledge of panel shop processes, quality, safety, cleanliness, and organizationAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in electrical assembly and panel wiringExperience in HVAC or as a Maintenance TechnicianExperience as an electrician or electrician apprenticeWhy Work Here?Our company offers a clean and laid-back work environment where you can listen to music while working.
