With an unrivaled toolbox of technologies, PURIS has the RIGHT solution for each project.Job Summary Description:We are seeking a dedicated, team oriented, driven, and efficient Field Superintendent to join the PURIS Team. The role entails working with the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, execute, and track all aspects of the project work. The Superintendent is the company's representative at the project site and will direct and coordinate the activities of the trades on site.Essential Job Accountabilities:Comprehend and administer a safety program that provides for a safe work environment and foster a culture that expects participation at all levelsCreate and promote, in his/her organization, the ability to recognize and understand the appropriate environmental policies, rules, and the potential adverse effects to the environment due to operations, and take steps necessary to comply with policy/rules, and mitigate the effects of operationsCreate and/or foster a quality culture that recognizes the affect of quality on all operations, and takes steps necessary to provide a product or service that is a source of pride for our workers, and pleasing to our customersSupervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule and is staffed appropriately.Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions and provide input with scheduling, engineering, and material control in order to make sure project objectives are met.Supervise and direct field supervisors, superintendents, and other contractors to ensure productivity, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project are met.Interface with all on-site work teams (including subcontractors) as required, to resolve problems, ensure quality, safety, scheduling and achieving schedules in support of overall project objectives.Assist project management in developing and implementing project Work Plans and procedures, working documents and standards to ensure project goals are achieved.Comply, understand, and support corporate safety, quality and environmental initiatives to ensure a compliant work environment.Recruit/recommend and hire qualified individuals to maintain high-performing teams.Other duties as assigned.Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Knowledge, skills, and abilities:3+ years of CIPP or lining experience Organized and detail oriented.Skilled collaboratorExcels in a high-paced work environment.Strong communication skills both oral and written.Ability to multi-task effectivelyFocused and supportive to management at all timesSelf-starter who works well independentlyAdaptable and calm under pressureExpert problem solverBilingual in Spanish (preferred)Additional Requirements/Skills:Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and deadline-orientedStrong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to adapt to change, take initiative, and attempt tasks independently.Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures, and standards.Valid drivers license with acceptable driving recordBenefits:Comprehensive and competitive benefits package that includes medical/Rx, dental, vision, critical illness and accident insurance, and short-term disability.Several 100% company-paid benefits including:Life Insurance Long-term disabilityEmployee assistance programBonus program401(k) savings plan with company matchGenerous PTO10 paid holidaysTuition reimbursementCareer advancement opportunities Equal Opportunity/Veterans/Disabled.
