Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Tool & Die SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Specialist to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, utilize an overhead crane to move dies, polish and grind dies, perform MIG & TIG welding, wire limit switches, disassemble and reassemble dies to specifications, and operate mills and lathes with tight tolerances. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our dynamic team.ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints accurately.Utilize an overhead crane to move dies throughout the die maintenance work area and into machines.Polish and grind dies as needed.Perform MIG & TIG welding on dies.Wire limit switches.Disassemble and reassemble dies to meet specifications.Operate mills and lathes to fabricate items as needed.Operate mills and lathes with tight tolerances.Perform preventative maintenance tasks on dies.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in tooling/die maintenance (preferably 5+ years).Proficiency in MIG & TIG welding on dies.Experience using mills and lathes within tight tolerances.High school diploma or GED.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with progressive stamping is a plus.Why Work Here?We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting after 60 days, a 401K opt-in option, life insurance, 10 paid holidays, 10 days of vacation after one year of employment, and 6 sick days per year. This position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, with occasional overtime required until 1 AM.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaver Dam, Kentucky.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
