Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance Electrician Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician for a contract-to-hire position. The role involves performing electrical troubleshooting and maintenance on various industrial equipment in a challenging and dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical troubleshooting on electric arc furnaces, bucket elevators, pneumatic systems, and augers.Handle motor controls including VFDs and DC controlled systems.Read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.Conduct minimal PLC troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley Micrologic.Perform preventive maintenance and installations.Essential SkillsExperience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.Proficiency in handling motor controls including VFDs and DC controlled systems.Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.Familiarity with PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley Micrologic.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectrical journeyman's certification is preferred.Experience in industrial settings.Why Work Here?Enjoy great benefits upon full-time hire, including uniforms provided during the first week and a supportive, tight-knit work group. Training will be conducted on day shifts for up to three months before transitioning to the rotating schedule. The environment is very dirty, and uniforms, steel toe boots, hard hats, and safety glasses are provided. Employees will have lockers for their uniforms and personal belongings.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.92 - $27.92/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
