Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAlpena Veterinary Clinic is looking for a highly organized, motivated, energetic, Personal Assistant to provide administrative and personal support to the CEO. This role involves managing both professional and personal tasks for the CEO to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about reaching goals, and bookkeeping experience. Key Responsibilities:Administrative Assistance:Manage and maintain the CEO's calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently.Handle administrative tasks such as filing, email composition, bookkeeping is an advantage.Monitor social media, proactive client and community engagement. Personal Assistance:Assist the CEO with personal tasks, such as scheduling personal appointments, travel arrangements, and managing personal calendar items, ordering of supplies.Handle personal errands, including shopping for supplies, managing correspondence, and other activities as directed by the veterinarian. Client Communication:Act as a point of contact for clients seeking to reach the CEO, directing inquiries or taking detailed messages as appropriate. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage both professional and personal responsibilities.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor with clients and staff.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Comfortable in a clinical environment and working around animals.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in restraining animals during medical procedures if needed.
