Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Electrical Assembler Job DescriptionWe are seeking highly motivated and electrical assemblers for a contract-to-hire position. The hourly rate ranges from $18 to $25 based on experience. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays due to high demand.ResponsibilitiesBuild and wire control panels using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cutters.Use test equipment like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to check the quality of panels.Fabricate and wire control panels according to specifications.Compare wiring and location of control devices to ensure accuracy.Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections.Test wiring circuits for malfunctions and identify root causes.Label each wire in the panel for easy identification.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.Experience in wiring control panels.Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment.Knowledge of panel shop processes, quality, safety, cleanliness, and organization.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as an electrician or electrician apprentice.Experience with HVAC systems, particularly wiring up HVAC units.Familiarity with electrical assembly and maintenance.Why Work Here?Enjoy a first shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, with the opportunity for overtime on Fridays. Each panel builder has their own work area and all necessary hand tools are provided. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and t-shirts, with no requirement for steel-toe shoes.
