The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques across a wide range of makes and models. As a senior-level mechanic, you will be expected to perform complex repairs, mentor junior technicians, and ensure the highest level of service quality and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical issues in cars, SUVs, and light trucks.Conduct comprehensive inspections and road tests to identify and confirm vehicle issues.Perform advanced repairs including engine overhauls, transmission work, suspension adjustments, and computer diagnostics.Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.Accurately document repairs, parts used, and services performed.Mentor and assist junior technicians; provide training and guidance as needed.Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear and accurate repair estimates.Keep up to date with automotive technology and certifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical school or college degree preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a professional auto mechanic.ASE Certification(s) required (Master Technician certification strongly preferred).Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a wide range of vehicles.
