Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProgrammer/Estimator - Custom Metal Fabrication & MachiningKey Responsibilities:Interpret work orders, blueprints, and sketches to define job requirementsUse CAD/CAM software to draft flat pattern layouts and generate machine programsCollaborate directly with customers' engineers on specifications and feasibilityReverse engineer existing parts and componentsPartner with machine operators and production staff to ensure accurate executionAssist in the preparation of job proposals and cost estimatesRequirements:Technical school education or relevant on-the-job experienceStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departmentsHigh attention to detail and ability to work independentlyProficient with computers; CAD/CAM experience requiredPreferred Qualifications:2-3 years of experience in machine programming (CNC, laser, or similar systems)Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salaryHealth, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) retirement plan
