Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team and serve as the Qualifying Party for our companys electrical contractor license in Kentucky. This role is essential in overseeing electrical installations, renovations, and maintenance in commercial and industrial environments while ensuring full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Kentucky state regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the Qualifying Party for the companys electrical contractor license in Kentucky.Supervise and inspect all electrical work to ensure compliance with NEC and Kentucky regulations.Obtain necessary permits and coordinate inspection processes with authorities.Lead and supervise electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring safety and quality.Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.Conduct inspections and use tools such as hand tools and voltmeters to identify and troubleshoot issues.Renovate existing electrical systems to meet updated standards or efficiency goals.Collaborate with project managers and other trades to align on project timelines and deliverables.Trained and mentor apprentices and journeymen on best practices and safety protocols.Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and project status.Ensure job site safety and OSHA compliance at all times.RequirementsValid Master Electrician License in the State of Kentucky.Eligible to be designated as the Qualifying License Holder for the company.Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.Strong understanding of both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment, including voltmeters.In-depth knowledge of the NEC and Kentucky electrical codes.Experience with permits, inspections, and regulatory processes.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.Physical ability to perform manual labor and handle electrical equipment when needed.
