Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJCM Associates, Inc. is hiring Mechanical and Plumbing Foremen for full time year-round positions in commercial mechanical construction projects at Marine Corp Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina.JCM Associates, Inc. provides mechanical services throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area. We take pride in every project we take on and strive to communicate and accomplish the goals each one of our clients sets out to achieve. These services include new construction, renovation and maintenance of HVAC and Plumbing systems for plan-spec, design-build and design-assist commercial and high-rise residential buildings.Key Responsibilities:Work with Project Managers and other staff to ensure all manpower and material requirements of the job are where they need to be, on timeWork with mechanics, helpers and other foremen to build a high level of team work and moraleBuild strong customer relationships when the job dictatesMaintains safe work environmentProvide daily direction and training to apprenticesBlueprint Reading, layout and planning of the day to day dutiesEnsure projects are completed on time and within set budgetSupervise employees and subcontractorsSafety plan management including training and enforcement of safety proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and harassment-free work environmentWork hands on to complete projectsKnowledge of Commercial HVAC systems a plusMinimum Skills/Requirements:10-15 years of experience building commercial mechanical projectsAbility to supervise and manage a 30-person crewStrong communication skillsKnowledge of commercial HVAC and or plumbing systems requiredAbility to read, understand and work from drawings, specifications and schematicsUnderstands written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentAttendance, reliability, dependability and flexibilityIncentives/Benefits:Top Industry compensationBonus EligibilityPaid HolidaysPaid Vacation401KOwner-funded retirement planHealth, Disability and Life insuranceJob Type: Full TimeJCM offers competitive salary/hourly range reflective of candidate's experienceDrug Free / E.O.E.Recruiters, please do not contact JCM Associates staff regarding this listing.
