Quality Manager

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAdecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full time Quality Manager for their plant located just 30 minutes south of Cookeville, TN.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading total product quality across all plant operations. Driving quality improvements during production and preventing issues before production starts.Developing and managing departmental budget and P&L accountability.Monitoring and reporting on performance metrics and process improvementsDriving scrap reduction, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiativesLeading Kaizen and manager meetings on daily basis.Maintaining strong customer relationships and following up on quality concernsOverseeing internal audits, and ensuring compliance with IATF standardsProviding direction, training and mentoring to direct reports. Qualifications:Bachelors degree preferred 3+ years of experience leading quality (or similar) within a manufacturing environment. Automotive manufacturing background preferredStrong knowledge of quality documentation, mechanical aptitude and understanding of root cause analysis, GD&T, and similar functions.
