Job DescriptionJob DescriptionShinnecock Animal Hospital, an AAHA Accredited animal hospital is looking to add a third doctor to our well-established practice in Hampton Bays, NY. We are seeking an individual with a passion for excellent medical and surgical skills that enjoys communicating and educating our loyal clients. In house ultrasound Digital Dental Xray and high-speed drill Acupuncture and Holistic medicine Full surgical suite using Isoflourane anesthesia In house full pharmacy Paperless practice using Impromed Job responsibilitiesBuilds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concernsPerforms physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.Assists in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.Who we areShinnecock Animal Hospital has been serving the larger Hampton Bays area since 1996. We have multiple staff members that have been working with us for 5-10+ years. Our Medical Director, Dr. Justin Molnar, has been with the hospital for over 20 years. In addition to his work at Shinnecock, he is also the Medical Director for the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue, which allows our team to see exciting wildlife cases!
