This position comes with the opportunity of being a Jobsite Foreman/ Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee and lead in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using quality hand and power tools. The ideal candidate has a broad spectrum of knowledge, is hard-working and dedicated to producing only high-quality work. ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety rules and regulationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentUse blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials neededConstruct wood structures including framing, joists, and raftersInstall fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardwareInteract with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionalsQualificationsPrevious experience as a Carpenter is preferredStrong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurementsAbility to read and take action on blueprintsAbility to safely operate hand and power carpentry toolsKnowledge of building regulations and codesAbility to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
