Youll be responsible for all floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping floors (including baseboards, corners and all wall edges). The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all carpeted surfaces/floor mats are maintained free and of soil, dirt, debris, litter, and other foreign matter by effective routine vacuumingEnsure all hard floor surfaces are maintained free of grit, soil, dust, scuff and heel marks, stains, spills, debris, litter, and other foreign matter by effective routine cleaningUsing electric automatic scrubbing machine semi annually to buff floorsShampooing carpeted surfaces semi annuallySecure the building by locking doors once cleaning is completeWrite reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairsQualificationsEducational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of experience in janitorial servicesDrivers license or reliable transportation to and from the worksiteExperience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipmentExcellent stamina and physical healthMust be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethicAdditional RequirementsMust undergo a background checkPass certifications training
