In this role, you will produce high-quality precision components based on engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include loading materials, selecting tools, performing in-process inspections, and assisting with routine machine maintenance. This position offers a flexible R&D work environment with opportunities to expand your machining expertise and grow within a collaborative, innovation-driven team.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines to produce precision componentsLoad raw materials, install tooling, and configure machine settings according to job specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure dimensional accuracySelect appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on material properties and machining requirementsConduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools to verify tolerancesMonitor machine operations, identify minor issues, and notify senior machinists of necessary adjustmentsAssist with machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal equipment performanceMaintain accurate documentation of part measurements, inspections, and production recordsAdhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environmentCollaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and meet deadlinesQualifications:Associate or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering technology (preferred)3-5+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environmentProficiency in SolidWorks, blueprint reading, and GD&T interpretationExperience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machinesKnowledge of tooling selection, speeds, feeds, and material propertiesAbility to troubleshoot machining issues and make minor program adjustmentsFamiliarity with FANUC, Haas, or other CNC control systemsStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independentlyAbility to obtain and maintain Secret/TS level security clearanceBenefits:Competitive salary Paid Overtime 100% Employer paid comprehensive health benefits 4% 401(K) Match Flexible working schedule Opportunities for professional development and advancement Exciting and challenging work environmentAre you passionate about precision manufacturing and eager to contribute your expertise in CNC machining?
