In this part-time role, youll focus on keeping our facilities in excellent condition by performing cosmetic repairs, assembling furniture, and fixing minor issues around the building. This is a great opportunity for someone who prefers evening work and enjoys a hands-on role. If you're a reliable, detail-oriented problem solver with maintenance experience, wed love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesHandle cosmetic repairs such as patching walls, painting, and fixing minor damages to ensure the building remains in top condition.Assemble furniture and equipment as needed, ensuring everything is properly set up and functional.Perform minor repairs to fixtures, including doors, handles, and light fixtures.Regularly inspect the facility to identify areas that need improvement or repair, maintaining a safe and clean environment.Assist with additional maintenance tasks to keep the building in excellent working order.Be available to respond to emergency maintenance requests during operating hours if needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent.At least 2 years of general maintenance or handyman experience.Experience with minor repairs, furniture assembly, and cosmetic work.Ability to troubleshoot and fix everyday issues around the building.Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.Availability for evening shifts from 6pm to 9pm, with the flexibility to respond to emergency requests during operating hours.Must pass a background check (required for working in a childcare environment).Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.If you're looking for a rewarding part-time position with flexible evening hours, apply today and help us maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for the children in our care!
