Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are hiring a qualified and motivated Assistant Property Manager into our team to support general activities at the property. In this position, you will assist the Property Manager in performing daily administrative and clerical duties. Your responsibilities include scheduling property viewings, inspecting property conditions, overseeing maintenance activities, and identifying, resolving, and reporting problems and issues to the Property Manager.Your main purpose as an Assistant Property Manager is to provide an exquisite customer service experience to current and potential tenants by answering their questions and making them feel welcomed and comfortable. You will also collect and organize resident files, records, contracts, and payments. Our ideal candidate for this position has excellent communication, customer service, organization, problem-solving, and computer skills.Property Manager Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:Assist Property Manager in daily operations and activitiesBuild and maintain positive and professional relationships with tenantsInspect property conditions and monitor maintenance activitiesCommunicate and procure professional services, such as plumbers, construction workers, and HVAC professionalsIdentify and efficiently resolve tenants issues, conflicts, concerns, and complaintsCollect, maintain, organize, and update resident files and recordsDesign and distribute marketing and promotional materials to attract new clientsProvide timely assistance to tenants regarding property-related issuesCollect and manage payments, and tenant noticesReport problems and issues to the Property ManagerEnsure property compliance with relevant laws, standards, and regulationsProperty Manager Assistant Requirements:High school diploma or a GEDBachelors degree in business, real estate, management, or a similar field a plusPrior working experience in property management or real estateFamiliarity with industry standards, laws, and regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and spreadsheetsStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent organization and time managementProblem-solving skillsSolid knowledge of regional and national real estate laws
