Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Molded Parts Inspector / Molding Machine OperatorPay Rate: $18.00 - $27.00 /HRPosition Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Molded Parts Inspector to ensure the quality of molded parts produced in our facility. This role involves visually and dimensionally inspecting parts to ensure they meet established quality standards. The position also requires occasional operation of molding machines. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workplace.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Inspect molded parts to ensure they meet quality specifications, checking for defects such as surface blemishes, incorrect dimensions, or inconsistencies.Work with drawings, blueprints, sketches, verbal or written instructions, work orders, and process sheets to perform inspections.Record inspection results accurately on forms and/or in MeasurLink.Immediately report defective materials, scrap, or any quality-related issues to a technician and/or supervisor.Maintain personal production and quality standards as determined by supervision.Operate injection molding machines on occasion to support production needs.Fill machine hoppers and operate blending machines to combine raw pellets.Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed.Perform additional duties and tasks as required or instructed.Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 1 year of inspection experience with a solid understanding of using measuring tools.Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot defects and deviations from quality standards.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Manual dexterity to handle small parts with precision.Additional Characteristics:This position requires the ability to lift 25-55 lbs occasionally, 20-55 lbs frequently, and 10-25 lbs regularly.The role may require standing or sitting for extended periods of time (up to 8-10 hours a day).Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary for this position.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.If you're looking for an opportunity to contribute to a quality-driven manufacturing environment and have the required experience and skills, we encourage you to apply!Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
