Join our team!Requirements:Previous experience in the installation of distribution natural gas systems to include the fusing of PE pipeFlexibility to work varying schedules and stay late as neededAbility to work in changing weather conditionsWilling to travel overnights during the construction seasonAbility to stand or sit for long periods of time and maneuver in small areasFederal Med/Health CardStrong communication skillsPreferred Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, but not requiredDescription:Assemble and join polyethylene pipe and pipe fittings as necessary to complete the installationJoin piping by fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical jointsInspect and test pipe systems for leaksMaintain documentation per customers requirementsMaintain open communication with crew membersFollow safe utility practices and written proceduresCheck and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe working orderOperate equipment and tools of various sizes and weights to prepare worksite, excavations, and move materialsWork in adherence to safe practices, procedures and worksite or traffic lawsPerform pre and post-trip inspections dailyUse hand tools to dig around existing utilities to prevent damagesPerform other duties as assignedEducation, Skills, Experience:Previous fusion certificationDesire to learn and commitment to working safelyMaintain a strong work ethic and commitment to excellenceECI is an equal opportunity and drug-free employer.
