Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Cable Products AssemblyJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team for a second shift assembly project in Harlan, IA. Due to increased customer demand, we need to expand our workforce to manage our backlog efficiently. This project is expected to last 3-6 months, with the potential to become a permanent position. The role involves the assembly of cable and cord reels, and candidates must pass a drug screen.ResponsibilitiesAssemble cables for gearsUtilize mechanical and electrical experience to complete tasksOperate hand tools and power toolsRead and interpret blueprints and bills of materialsRegularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 poundsEssential SkillsMechanical and electrical experienceProficiency with hand tools and power toolsAbility to read blueprints and tape measuresExperience in mechanical assemblyGeneral labor and production skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in wiring and reading schematicsPrevious assembly and manufacturing experienceWhy Work Here?Enjoy a three-day weekend with a Monday to Thursday work schedule from 1 PM to 11:30 PM. The facility in Harlan, IA, is dedicated to building and warehousing conductor bars, C-track festoons, small spring reels, push button pendants, and radio remote controls.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harlan, Iowa.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
