Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering an exciting employment opportunity in Salem, New Hampshire, for an experienced Payroll Administrator. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining accurate payroll records for both union and non-union employees, ensuring compliance with labor agreements and tax regulations, and managing audits. Responsibilities include: Accurately processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union employees. Maintaining comprehensive payroll records within the JD Edwards ERP system, including details of wages, benefits, deductions, and tax withholdings. Calculating and processing union benefits, deductions, and contributions in accordance with collective bargaining agreements. Adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as union contract requirements. Reconciliation of payroll reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and liaising with HR and Accounting teams when necessary. Preparation and submission of certified payroll reports for government projects, ensuring adherence to prevailing wage laws. Managing payroll audits, effectively responding to inquiries from unions, tax agencies, and auditors. Keeping up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and union contract requirements. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is required. Familiarity with Ceridian software. Ability to work with Crystal Reports. Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration. Knowledge of About Time software. Proficiency in various Accounting Functions. Experience in Auditing is necessary. Understanding of Benefit Functions. Familiarity with Union Contracts. Experience in Payroll - Union is required.
