Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Installation and Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for the installation of grab rails, seats, panels, doors, speed loads, and sanding of floors. Additionally, you will assist with the installation of IV hangers, drawer catches, and support other departmental employees, adhering to the production schedule while maintaining a quality product.ResponsibilitiesInstall grab rails, seats, panels, doors, speed loads, and sand floors.Assist with the installation of IV hangers and drawer catches.Support other departmental employees as needed.Adhere to the production schedule while maintaining a high-quality product.Cut laminate according to work orders and blueprints for cabinets.Correctly measure and saw materials.Prepare boards for builders to assemble cabinets.Essential Skills6+ months of manufacturing experience.Ability to read a tape measure.Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints/diagrams.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude.Experience with hand tools, power tools, electrical work, welding (MIG), mechanical production line, electrical assembly, and CNC machine operation.Why Work Here?This is an employee-owned ESOP company, meaning you receive bonuses and shares based on company performance. The plant employs 185 people, with approximately 5 on the new 3rd shift. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a t-shirt, with the company providing the rest of the safety gear. The environment is clean and organized, with a layout that allows you to see the entire ambulance production process from start to finish.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sumner, Iowa.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
