As a CFO, you will be responsible for shaping long-term goals, strategies, and business plans, overseeing fiscal activities, and fostering a culture of success and accountability. You must live in the Midwest and be able to travel up to 25% in the Midwest.Responsibilities Develop and implement long-term goals, strategies, and business plans in line with business growth initiatives Oversee the financial performance of the business, including sales, profitability, and cash flow Lead the development of operational infrastructure, systems, and processes, ensuring quality and accuracy of work product and best practices Foster a success-oriented, accountable culture through recruitment, mentorship, and career development Lead strategic initiatives such as succession planning and leadership development Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and ensure accurate financial systems Develop predictive models and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and business success Engage in networking opportunities, learn and share industry insights, and develop key relationships with influencers Develop and execute marketing strategies that generate leads and close and onboard new clients to drive business growth Build and maintain relationships with clients and their key advisors, ensuring compliance with financial requirements Manage business opportunities, special project work, and oversee client month-end processing, financial statement preparation, intercompany transactions, cash management Support accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and compliance reporting Ensure adherence to income tax, audit, and banking compliance requirements while providing timely financial reporting and analysis to key decision-makers. Candidate must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance-related role. Proficiency in Capital Management is essential. Strong ability in Cash Flow Analysis is required. Must have experience in Strategic Planning. Proficient in Budgeting and Forecasting. Expertise in Financial Reporting is a must. Strong skills in Financial Analysis are required.
