If you have the passion for credit analysis, loan documentation, customer service, and where your talent can shine, we invite you to join our team.Job SummaryThe Credit Analyst and Loan Documentation Specialist plays a key dual role in evaluating credit worthiness and ensuring accurate loan documentation. This position is responsible for analyzing financial data, assessing risk and preparing loan documents in compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies. The ideal candidate will thrive if self-motivated, detail oriented, analytical and seeks excellence. This position is a key support for Commercial Lenders and the Credit Department.Credit Analysis Credit analysts acquire, compile, update and assess existing customer and applicants individual and business credit data, tax returns and financial statements to determine any and all potential risks and repayment capacity. The analysis requires making meaningful and knowledgeable recommendations as to the customer or prospect credit worthiness and course of action based on the historic, current and projected DSCR, cash flow and financial ratios. Assist in preparing reports and monitoring existing loan portfolios, identifying risks and ensuring timely renewals or modifications. Work closely with loan officers in the completion of credit presentation structuring credit facilities that align with the banks risk appetite, lending criteria, and customer needs. Prepare portfolio reports, construction draws and provide extensive telephone support to customers and staff. Assist in the preparation of CECL calculations and reporting. Evaluates and documents workflows, processes and procedures for completeness and efficiency improvements.Loan Documentation Prepare, review and verify loan documentation for accuracy and completeness and compliance with banking regulations. Ensure all loan documents accurately reflect the approved terms and conditions. Order appraisal and environmental reports in compliance with FIRREA and bank policies. Work closely with lenders and title companies to perfect security facilitate smooth closings. Conduct post-closing audits, identifying and resolving documentation discrepancies. Maintain and organize loan files, ensuring all required documentation is properly recorded and stored in bank systems. Compile Loan Committee and Board loan reportsQualifications Bank training in credit analysis and loan documentation 2+ years experience in bank and lending. Strong financial analysis skills or desire and aptitude to gain skills necessary to interpret complex financial data. Knowledge of banking regulations, loan policies and documentation requirements Proficiency in loan analysis software (Sageworks/Abrigo), loan documentation software (LaserPro), Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel is a plus) Knowledge of analyzing of construction loans and SBA SOP, a plus Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
